Minor spoiler...Through most of this book I was screaming in my head--don't do both of them. When they kissed, when things went further. For some reason the taboo of a teacher/student relationship seems more disturbing when the teacher is a women. I guess it's my age and the stereotypes I grew up on. Of course the characters ignored my internal screaming--and to my delight, what started as a relationship that was uncomfortable to me, the booked turned into a darn good love story. Take a chance on this one, regardless of your preconceptions!

Beth is a dedicated teacher, who loves her job, and Ryan is one of the students in her Spanish class. Ryan loves woman, and is a one night stand guy, until he sets his sights on Beth. These two have amazing chemistry between them, but is the taboo student / teacher relationship worth it? When the past catches up with the present, it is with brutal, with heartbreaking consequences. This is a hot and sexy story, which had me hooked and captivated throughout. I cannot wait for release day, as I know you are all going to love this novel. Once again Siobhan has done an amazing job, and there is one thing for sure, she never disappoints her readers! Beta Read and gave a fantastic 5 star rating!

With so many books featuring an older man and younger woman, which I love to read, it was a nice change to read Game On. When Beth is in Ibiza for her friend's hen weekend drinking, dancing and having fun with her friends when she meets a man who makes her want to throw caution to the wind and live wild, even if for the night. However things don't go as planned and her man with the scorpion tattoo has to leave right before the good part. Now 6 months later Beth finds herself getting her ready for her first day teaching Spanish and low and behold her mystery man turns out to be a student of hers that just transferred, he's 18. Ryan hasn't forgotten about Beth from the club in Ibiza and couldn't be more surprised to find that Beth is his new teacher. While both try to hide their attraction neither can, yet both know they have to be careful with this taboo relationship. When Beth needs Ryan the most he is unwavering in his devotion to her. A great read from SC Daiko. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports. Ryan has only ever wanted on thing in life. To play professional rugby. He loved and breathed it until he met Beth. She's is everything he's ever wanted snd he knows she feel the same about him. However Ryan is Beth's student. It's beyond against the rules for them to have a relationship. Soon too Ryan's last will catch up with him and. Instead of game on it could be game over. This is a student/teacher romance and I thought it was a really sweet story of how soul mates can overcome anything it takes to be tougher. Ryan is running from a danger to his mother so the whole story has this element of is the danger going to catch up with them Beth and Ryan don't fall in love under the best circumstances but I loved their connection. Their chemistry is off the charts. Grab Game On. Buckle up and enjoy the ride

Game on is supposed to be a forbidden romance, high school teacher and student.making out with a stranger at a club expecting to never see them again to only find out they are now a student in your class.I liked Beth and Ryan, but it was quite a romance. Didnt hold the whole drama to go with the taboo feel

Oh, this book is so good! I really enjoyed that Beth was the older one, and you only got a few glimpses of Ryan being immature. Most of the time, he was all man. Yes, it is a forbidden romance between a teacher and a student, but Ryan was almost 19 years old, and they had first met in an entirely different setting. First, this book has a great story. It is very well written, and one you do not want to put down. Second, it is sizzling hot. Ryan really knows what to do with what he has, which is very plentiful, but it is also a story of real love. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced copy.Merged review:Oh, this book is so good! Title: Game OnAuthor: S.C. Daiko4 unexpected stars This is the 'second' novel that I read by SC Daiko ~ the first being her Two, Three & Four novels that were completed in a box set a few months ago. Game On was a very different type of read that takes on the teacher/student taboo subject (one of my guilty pleasures) and gives it an extra spin on it by having the male character be younger than the woman, which was an absolute treat since Beth, our teacher, is no wilting flower. She's strong, independent and absolutely the kind of girl that wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to Ryan. This student, who is legal (just a general FYI since it's in a high school setting in a prestigious school in the Welsh community), is on the run with his mother and sister after a situation gets out of hand and the family has no other recourse. These two have met many months ago, but before anything cold have happened, the proverbial 'sh*t hitting the fan' came down until they meet on the first day of school. 4.5 sexy dreamsNo matter how hard that Beth tried to fight her attraction to Ryan, the chemistry between the two was simply too strong. And alright, I'll come out and say it, I loved how she caved and more so how he simply dominated almost every aspect of their relationship (in a good way). I loved to see how they managed to separate their personal and then their 'professional' relationship to protect each other. The way that S.C. Daiko told her story kept me captivated and even at the edge of my seat trying to figure out if Beth and Ryan will be able to pass and survive al, of the obstacles,es that is surely to come their way considering the big factor that is stopping them from being public with their feelings.*ARC provided by Author in exchange for an honest review.Reviewed by Kathleen, The Small Girl from A small girl, her man and her books

3 stars!I picked up Game On by SC Daiko wanting some rugby action. Rugby Players = Yes. I’ve never read a book around this sport. The teacher-student forbidden aspect was a good plus, although I did have some issues with the execution of it.Ryan meets Beth at a club in Ibiza, but he’s called away before they can satiate their lust for each other. He moves to Wales in hopes of protecting his family, and the first day of school, he finds Beth again. Only she’s his teacher.Beth knows she should resist Ryan, but all too soon, they are meeting in secret. Can they be together with everything threatening to tear them apart? This was a solid teacher-student romance. I liked Beth. She’s a temporary hire to Wyemouth High, and she’s hoping to do well enough to get a permanent position. Her expertise is in languages. I liked the mix of cultures here: Beth is British, but teaches in Wales. Ryan is half Welsh, and half-Spanish. The side plot definitely kept my interest as well. Ryan has a lot on his shoulders, but his dream is to be a professional Rugby player. It’s difficult for both him and Beth who have much to lose if their relationship is made public. That’s on top of Ryan’s family issues. Some parts did feel a little rushed, however, especially at the beginning. The insta-connection is one that doesn’t work for me often, and I thought they needed more one-on-one time. Also, Ryan felt a little too young in parts. Granted, he’s a super senior in high school, but he lacked the maturity necessary for this teacher-student dynamic to be believable for me. Game On kept my attention and was a nice foray into the forbidden.Reviewed by Michaelene from Alpha Book Club

This book is red hot I actually had to check that my kindle wasn't going to burst into flames. The chemistry between the main characters Beth and Ryan is hot.We meet Beth a teacher who has always dreamt of being a teacher. Beth is on holiday in Ibiza when she meets up with this fella where they end up spending the night together that is red hot between the two of them. The chemistry between them is enough to start s fire alone. Beth never thought that she would see this nursery man again.Fast forward 6 months Beth is back home and has been offered a job as a supply teacher which she's over the moon to except the position. It's also new boy's Ryan's first day at the school where Beth is going to be teaching. Ryan is a natural on the rugby pitch but lately he's been occupied thinking about the girl that he had a one night stand with and is unable to get the mystery girl out of his head.Ryan walks into his new class and I don't who gets the biggest shock as stood behind the teachers desk is the mysterious girl that he shared that one night with in Ibiza. The last thing that Ryan wants to do is get Beth into trouble but the attraction between Beth and Ryan can ignore. They embark on a relationship with each other even though relationships between teachers and students is strictly forbidden but this doesn't stop them falling in love with one another. There little bubble is soon threatened to be popped when someone from Ryan's past makes a appearance and how will this effect the relationship between Beth anal Ryan.

This is a very good forbidden romance read (student/teacher) with a slightly different take than usual, that being the woman (teacher) is older than the man (student), which was really refreshing and different, and quite personal to me being as I am 8yrs older than my hubby, so an interesting read for me!!6 months ago, Beth was in Ibiza for a hen night with her friends when she very nearly succumbs to a one night stand with a hot local, something that she doesn't normally do, until he suddenly gets called away leaving Beth in a bit of a tizz - she still thinks about her near tryst daily. Its not until a new student joins her class from Ibiza that she suddenly realises that Ryan was the near one night stand she thought she would never see again - now he's in her class, and the sparks are flying!!Ryan moved back to Wales with his family from Ibiza after a nasty family incident on the island in attempt to get away and start afresh. He's passionate about Rugby and has no time for girls with his exams just around the corner. But he's always fancied the older women, like back on Ibiza, he cannot get that woman out of his head, and finds her to be his new teacher. Spanish lessons are about to get very interesting!!A good read full of angst, forbidden love, passion, temptation, mystery, suspense and a dark secret. There are some red hot sexy scenes between Beth and Ryan!! A good story with some great plot twists along the way make for a really good read, that's not overly long - I read this in one afternoon. Highly recommended reading.

Beth is on the Island of Ibiza she's cutting lose on a hen weekend. When a hot guy approaches her in a club it becomes hot and heavy straight away. She wants to break away from the goody two shoes she feels she is and slips outside to be with this guy. But when he suddenly gets a call and has to leave she's puts it down to a....thinking it was probably from the best didn't go to far. So all she's left with is the memory of the hottest make out session with a guy with a scorpion tattoo on his hand.Life goes back to normal for Beth in the Uk she takes on a cover role teaching Spanish in a high school. But gets the shock of her life when in one of her classes is the hot guy from Ibiza sitting smiling at her. Life for Beth is about to get very interesting!!Ryan had to leave his home in Ibiza and finds himself living in his mothers home town in the Uk. But what he never expected to find there was the girl he'd not been able to stop thinking of and all he had was a name to go on... Beth!! But not now he knows exactly where she is and she's looking straight at him shocked!!This is a slightly taboo read with teacher student but Ryan is of age he's 18 nearly 19. And this really was quite a sweet read as well, the love shown between both Beth and Ryan felt right not wrong. There wasn't a huge age gap it was just more the ethical aspect that made this read taboo. S.C. Daiko has written another steamy read and i would happily recommend.

One of a Kind! Twist on Student/Teacher Romance but Sooooo Good!Game On was completely unexpected, so unique and unlike any other story I've read before, a new twist on the student/teacher relationship. I absolutely LOVE that the female lead is the teacher. Beth and Ryan met one night. That should've been the end of it. Their situation was non conventional, a no-no between teacher and student. But the heart wants what the heart wants and their passion was just as strong the night they met. Both were aware of the consequences should they get caught. There was a level of maturity, even though forbidden, that shined through in their relationship. When the unthinkable happened, I was stunned. Truly that instance is what made it all come together; it was everything I was NOT expecting, but in a "hold on tight, oh $hit my heart, it feels too much, I love this damn book" kind of way. The ending was beautiful, full of love, and hope.  I really enjoyed the age difference & relationship between Beth and Ryan. So many characters are male leads in student/teacher books. It was a nice change. Another fantastic read by SC Daiko!

Riveting and addictive! The author has conveyed a truly memorable story about the forbidden romance between a teacher and a student. But unlike many of these stories, this one is refreshingly different because the teacher is female and the student is male. I applaud the author for venturing into a forbidden romance between her two main characters. It is not an easy topic to tackle, but with excellent execution, she’s managed to pull it off.I am a great fan of S C Daiko’s writing, so I knew she would tackle this sensitive story with her usual grit and determination. The main characters, Beth and Ryan have a terrific chemistry between them and as a reader I was rooting for things to work out, although sceptical they would. The pages are quickly turned as you follow their story, and it is an actual story, it’s not just about a prohibitive romance, there is so much more going on. The characters are appealing and endearing, and I felt the author conveyed very well the dilemma for Beth as Ryan’s teacher. It’s easy to see it's wrong, but as a reader you want happy ever after as each character grows on you.The sex between the two was extremely erotic and graphic. I felt almost as if I was watching a movie such is the skill of the writer. You read so often about ‘page turners,’ ‘couldn’t put this book down,’ and ‘I read it in a day’ – well trust me, all of these apply to this book. It is lovely and romantic, erotic and sexy, but last but by no means least, riveting and addictive. So don’t whatever you do start it on a work night . . . you’ll be sorry! A definite 5 stars from me for a fabulous story, I loved it.

4.5 StarsI'm a sucker for student/teacher stories. Total guilty pleasure of mine and I do a mental happy dance anytime a new one is released. Game On by SC Daiko was especially fun, since it features a female teacher and a male student, a pairing that doesn't happen too often in this particular sub genre.Beth had a hot one night stand at her friend's hen party that left her wanting to stay away from men for awhile. Keeping her head down and throwing her all into her new position as Spanish teacher is the best way to forget about things that will never be.Ryan is focused on becoming a professional rugby player, but no one can spend all their time working hard without a little fun thrown in. He has an attraction to older women and he enjoys that attraction through a series of one-night stands. They are a means to an end and after the itch is scratched he forgets the women and moves on, until one particular woman leaves an impossible to forget impression on him.Beth gets the shock of her life when Ryan enters her classroom. He's the man she has been trying to forget and she is the woman he can't forget. She's determined to keep things professional, but Ryan won't take no for an answer. Soon he weakens her defenses and they find themselves in the midst of a hot and heavy forbidden affair. As is always the case with student/teacher stories, you read with a sense of trepidation, because no matter how passionate or true the romance, you know the other shoe will drop at some point. When that happens to Beth and Ryan you'll find your heart breaking right along with theirs. Luckily, Daiko doesn't leave us heartbroken for too long. This is a great addition to the student/teacher genre and will be of particular interest to people who enjoy reading an interesting and steamy older woman/younger man romance.

GAME ON- I adored this story! Beth-a play it by the rules, hurt and a bit damaged from an xbf and feeling not so LOVED by her parents as her twin sister has always seemed to be the favorite, meets a handsome man in Ibiza, during a bachlorette party. what would have been a one night stand is thwarted by the man's having to leave for family reasons. Beth returns home without seeing him forward 6 months, she's accepted a sub teaching position, and there he is! A student! (legal age, so no worries)what follows is the development and growth of the characters as they struggle with their attraction, their feelings. SC Daiko leads you through her story smoothly, effortlessly keeping you enthralled with "what if" "he needs to chill out" "omg, their gonna get caught" "what is Ryan hiding" and "holy hell that is HOT!!!" at first I was a bit hesitant of whether I would like this book or not, as know of a teacher and student real life couple, and the hell the teacher went through. I had preconceived notions, but this story helped to change my view and I thoroughly enjoyed Ryan and Beth's story! love knows no age and "soul mates come but once in a life"

I've read quite a few student/teacher romances in my time so it takes a lot to impress me. It takes a lot for it not to be predictable. I mean there's only so many twist this taboo trope can have ... and there's one twist that doesn't come along too often. The story was sweet. So it impressed me :)There's a suspense element to the story that added depth to the book. Ryan has a situation going on in his life that is quite serious. Add to that the forbidden nature of his attraction to Beth and you've got yourself one heck of a captivating read. I was very much invested in these two. I rooted for them. The story pulled me in from the moment they set eyes on each other in class. I read this book in mere hours.Copy provided for blog tour review

This is a great twist on the usual story of the young female student falling for her teacher. In this case, you have two people who connect physically and then connect emotionally when they meet as teacher and student. It is a complicated relationship with a lot of obstacles as well as danger. I really liked how the author took the time to really develop the relationship between the characters. While the two have amazing chemistry, you also have a real connection between the two develop beyond the physical attraction and needs. She is a strong woman who wasn't looking for a relationship and knows there are real issues but feels it is worth the risk to be with him. He knows what he wants and stands strong under pressure.I highly recommend the author's other books as well. They are all very well-written. While they may include erotic content, it is always balanced with developed characters and an interesting storyline.I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Review of Game On by SC DaikoReview done for Hooked on Books & CherryOBlossoms Promotions4 out of 5 starsAlthough I am not a fan of student-teacher romances, I did enjoy this one.Beth has just started a job as a Spanish teacher. Everything is going great until a new student arrives. To her horror, he is the sexy man she almost had a one-night fling with when she was on vacation in Ibiza. He may be 18 but he is definitely off limits because of her job.Ryan and his family moved to get away from the danger his mother faces. When he starts school he is shocked that one of his teachers is the girl of his dreams. He has regretted everyday that he let her go that night.Their relationship is dangerous for both of them but they can’t resist each other. This was a great story with lots of angst, danger, and hot sex scenes.I would definitely recommend this book!

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.**Carla's Four Star ReviewRyan is a young man who knows exactly what he wants out of life. He wants to play professional rugby, keep his family safe, and have the occasional one night stand. However, those goals change slightly after meeting the beautiful Beth. He just can't get her out of his mind.Fast forward six months. After moving to the UK, Ryan is attending his new school, and imagine his surprise when the woman he has been pining over turns out to be one of his teachers. Beth is a dedicated teacher who loves to use her gift of teaching to enrich young minds. She has always been super professional, but the day Ryan walks into her classroom, the lines between professional/personal start to blur. As Beth gives into temptation, it doesn't take long for these two to fall head over heels in love. As if trying to keep their relationship under wraps is not enough, a threat from Ryan's past reemerges placing everyone around him in danger.I really enjoyed this book! It is a great teacher/student romance, but what makes it an even better read is the element of danger it contains. If the off the charts chemistry between Ryan and Beth doesn't get your motor revving , the danger and suspense is sure to! My advice? Add this book to your TBR list right now! Trust me, this is one of those books you don't want to miss out on!!

It's my first book by this author. And I liked it. It's a steamy, forbidden love story between a teacher and her hot student. And the chemistry!!Beth is slightly naïve and insecure woman. She is trying to make it as teacher. And in walks Ryan. Ryan is mature for his age. Playing rugby has given him a very muscular and hot body. He will do anything for the people he cares about! They try not to feel the way they fell about each other, her more than him. But he knows what he wants, and Ryan want Beth! Will they get caught? Can love conquer anything?

Such a great romance! This was my first book by SC Daiko, and won't be my last. I received an ARC of this story, and then bought a copy of the book to support her. This is my honest, voluntary review. Now with that out of the way... this was such an amazing book! I am a huge fan of forbidden romance between a student and teacher, and this hit all the marks for me. It's different, because the teacher is female, and it's full length. It takes time to develop the relationship between Ryan and Beth, going from purely physical to something deeper. Beth is a dedicated teacher, independent in so many ways. Ryan is the caring, determined student who falls hard for Beth, and you can't help but love him. There were little moments between them throughout the story that made me sigh happily, and this story had plenty of feels at the end. And then the chemistry between them was HOT! It felt so real. Overall, the story is well-paced and well-written, with few grammar mistakes and plenty of steam to satisfy anyone. The romance develops over the story, and everything comes to a very satisfying conclusion. If you can get past the initial instalust and concerns about teachers taking advantage of students, then I think you'll really love this story. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a student-teacher romance, and even if you don't, I still recommend it.

But it was enjoyable to read. I would recommend it a nice quick read.Reviewed by Donna

This was my first read from this author and I enjoy it immensely. Also, my first dip into teacher/student relationships but that's not all this book had to offer. Ryan and Beth originally meet and hook up in Ibiza on a holiday. Little does Beth know, Ryan will also be her student in the coming school year. Their instant connection and chemistry leaps off the pages no matter how hard they try to contain themselves. I also enjoyed that Ryan's family had a little drama going on, as a side story so it wasn't all about his and Beth's trysts. Overall, the inner struggles made for an exciting roller coaster of will they or won't they finally come together. Will it be short lived or happily ever after? The surprise ending will leave you with a smile ❣️❣️❣️❣️**I was provided with an ARC for an honest review**

So I went into this not really knowing what to expect, beyond the fact that it was a taboo romance. It just so happens that the last book had a similar theme, but the female was a college professor and the student was a frat boy athlete. So I had something to compare this one too. I really wanted to get into this book, but it just did not want to click for me. The whole setting and words that I had no clue what they meant and the detailed descriptions of the school structure was too much. The scene that almost made me stop reading was the hiking scene when he goes into her tent in the middle of the night. Seriously….on a school trip? The basic story was good, but the execution just missed the mark.Hero 3 Stars / Heroine 3 stars / Steam 3 stars / Plot 3 stars / Overall 3 Stars Keys: MF, taboo, student, athlete, teacher#MSBB - I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

While vacationing in Ibiza Beth is out on the town with her best gal pals before her sister gets married and is enjoying dancing when a hot young guy, Ryan, approaches and they share a dance. Their attraction was electric but he had to leave due to a family emergency before they could take it any farther. Six months later she is very happy to cover a maternity leave to teach Spanish when who should be in her class but her unconsummated one night stand. They know they shouldn’t take it any further but how can something that feels so right be wrong? I loved that this was a different take on the teacher/student relationship as the woman was the teacher and the touch of suspense was icing on the cake! This book was a steamy taboo romance. It was refreshing to see the woman was older! Ryan and Beth met in Ibizia and almost do it, but they meet again when he is her student! A must read!

Beth almost had a one night stand whilst she was in Ibiza but it only went as far as a hot steamy encounter as the sexy mystery male ended up being called away due to a family emergency however fast forward six months and back in Wales she ends up being reunited with him in her classroom, she's a teacher and one of her new students just so happens to be the hot, sexy man she shared a passionate moment with at the club in Ibiza. When Ryan walks into the classroom the last person he expected to see was the woman he had to leave at a club six months previous, he isn't disappointed about seeing her again infact he wants her and it's not just her body he wants. Unable to deny the chemistry they share they both find themselves giving into temptation and soon falling head over heels in love with one another, as if having to keep their relationship under wraps wasn't bad enough they find themselves in danger when a threat from Ryan's past returns putting him and all those around him in grave danger. This was a great student/teacher romance with a touch of danger giving it that slight edge making it a solid 4 stars out of 5 from me.I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book through Be My Book Boyfriend.
