Simply Taylor Made Reviews
Simply Taylor MadeTeresa Seals returns with her sophomore novel and sequel SIMPLY TAYLOR MADE. The Taylors are back, but this time the spotlight in on the next generation led by Terry "TJ" Taylor Jr. TJ navigates the streets of St. Louis, struggles with the transition from boy to man and sees what being Taylor Made really means. SIMPLY TAYLOR MADE begins promisingly enough, but falls victim to sloppy editing, thin character development and a plot that was sometimes muddled. The narrative was confusing as it switched between first and third person. The grown-ups behaved like children and the children thought they were the adults. However, SIMPLY TAYLOR MADE does have its moments and the growth of the author is evident. This book, although a good effort, falters when trying to captivate its readers. Reviewed by: Toni
