Between two career-driven people, marriage can be hard enough, but combined with fertility issues and constant loss, it just became too much for them to bear. While sorting out her feelings about her broken marriage and seemingly broken body, she decides to move in with her lifelong best friend, Alejandro Cruz. Alex has been with Carly through all her triumphs as well as her low points, including the break-up with her first love, Josh McCarthy, whom Alex is still friends with.Carly just wants to get to a point where she can get closure from all her relationships so she can succeed at one – just one that she can keep forever. Determined to help her do that, Alex invites Josh to their house for a “besties” get together weekend. Good food, good wine, and good conversation.Fortunately for the three of them, closure is exactly what they all get, and for the first time in their lives, they can move forward. After all, Josh has really exciting news that he wants to share with his best friends: South Station Boyz are reuniting. With a new album, new videos, and even a new tour on the horizon, they invite Carly and Alejandro to join them and the Trainwreckz, the tongue-in-cheek nickname for their fans, on this crazy journey. While trying to prove her closure to herself and others, she becomes quite enthralled with handsome group member (and band mate of Josh), Dave Butler. He returns the interest and sparks fly. Then, one unplanned, reckless night (something that goes against Carly’s very own DNA) in Miami derails all her hard work, possibly throwing everything into the wind. As she tries to sort it out, she also battles to not lose the people she loves. Can what she’s done while under one drunken indulgence ruin everything she’s worked so hard to fix after all this time?...

In her first book, "Distance and Time", we met a young Carly Cooper for the first time. Her encounter with boy bander Josh McCarthy is a once in a lifetime chance that leads us on a complicated, heart wrenching journey that culminates in this third, and highly anticipated final installment in the "Time After Time" series. It will prove to be more than worth the wait! Mel Henry has taken us through the phases of a relationship that may have started seemingly out of the ordinary, and unlikely, and has breathed life, relatability and authenticity into two perfectly imperfect characters. Do yourself a favor and read both "Distance and Time" and the sequel "Better in Time."But before you do, just go ahead and pre-order "All This Time". Because you're not going to be able to wait to find out what happens to these two! Also, run out and stock up on Kleenex... and chocolate...and if you're legal, pehaps your favorite bottle of wine...annnnd make sure you have all of your favorite boy band songs handy to play while you read. May I recommend any track by NKOTB? Joe McCarth...*cough* I mean, um, McIntyre *cough*. I'm just sayin'.This series will make you feel all of the feels three times over. Don't ask questions, just go. Wait! Did you buy the books yet? No? Well, do that first.Okaaaaay, NOW go.

I stumbled upon Mel Henry's fist book - Distance and Time in 2013. When I first read it I was completely captivated by it and was hoping for more from Mel. Then Better in Time released in April 2015. I screamed in excitement that there was more to Carly & Josh's story. When All This Time came up as an ARC to read, I knew there was no way I was going to miss a chance on reading and promoting this gem of an author. How to sum up three books for you.... First let me start by saying that All This Time is NOT a standalone. You need to read Distance and Time & Better in Time first. That being said, the Time After Time series is about Joshua McCarthy & Carly Cooper. Josh & Carly meet at a young age and fall in love. Josh is part of an up and coming boy band and is called to LA while Carly stays in New York. They try to make their relationship work while having a long distance relationship. This goes on for almost 15 years. Both get married at one point and yet the love that they have for one another stays strong. All This Time concludes Josh & Carly's love story. It is painful, heart wrenching, hopeful and makes up rethink love in a way that you never have before. About 52% into All This Time I had an "Oh sh*t" moment. I immediately messaged Mel on FB to let her know that I loved how the pieces of the story were falling together. She asked me if I had read the epilogue. I told her that I had not gotten that far yet. Well Mel, I just finished it. It was another "Holy sh*t" moment. I can't believe I read what I just read!!!!!! It is a twist that I never saw coming. It might rank as one of my favorite epilogues - after I process everything. The Time After Time series is will take your breath away. I loved this entire series right until the very last word of the epilogue, which btw, has me screaming and wanting to throw my kindle.... UGH!!! I digress... If you have not read a thing by Mel Henry, you are missing out on a treat.Thank you Mel for allowing me to read All This Time prior to its release. Those who take a chance on your writing will find that you are a rare gem waiting to be discovered. I can't wait to watch your career blossom.~ Review written by Heidi Pharo

When I embarked on Carly's journey with the first book of this series Distance and Time, I absolutely loved the fact that her story with Josh wasn't predictable. And each book of the series has been that way for me. I would be lying if I said I wasn't sobbing right now, but I understand why. And while it wasn't how I wanted it to end, it was a beautiful read. Please don't mind my rambling here - but Carly had a lot of heartache throughout the series. From her rape in the first book which was one of the factors leading to the demise of her and Josh's relationship the first time around, to her divorce from Trey in this last book. Not to mention, her seeing Josh move on and marry Abbey. She begins to think her and Josh weren't meant to be and accepted that - throwing herself into her career. I know her very brief relationship (if you can call it that) to Dave in the group had me cringing. Don't get me wrong - I love Dave and TOTALLY felt bad for him. But she wasn't meant to be with him. That was all kinds of wrong. I will say for the record when Carly started flirting with Dave (who was one of the members of Southside Boyz), I was like "There will be drama from Josh and there will be some kind of love triangle web - hell, the group could very well break up." And right when I thought I knew how this story would play out - surprise! Then I had to think again. Overall, I am convinced that this was fate. Her wants and needs were what led to her fate. And while I completely sob right now, this book ended how it should have. I loved her and Josh's journey. 5 stars!

Mel Henry delivers her best book yet! Before I continue with this review – if you haven't read the first two books in the “Time After Time” series you without a doubt want to read them before indulging in reading the final book “All This Time”.“All This Time” definitely takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. Josh & Carly once again sweep you up into their lives & don't let go. I'll admit there were times I wanted to scream at certain characters, then there were times I wanted to hug them like they were my real life friends & of course they also made me cry at times too.Mel Henry has a way of tugging at your heart & leaving you wanting more and this book absolutely does just that.

.B- You cannot read this as a stand alone and that you MUST read the first two books in this series: Distance & Time and Better with Time first.Talk about a ROLLERCOASTER. Carly and Josh have been through the ringer and back again and then through it back again. Carly is ending her very sad marriage and Josh is settling into his. He comes to NYC for a weekend with his friends and to get some closure on his relationship with Carly. As that weekend ends, we find them able to really focus on things outside of their never ending drama and while I hate these two not being together, I really felt happy that they were willing to try being true friends again.Carly even starts a "thing" with Dave, one of Josh's bandmates. When that whole thing goes pear shaped to due a reckless night, she finds herself wondering if she really has closure and what to do about her feelings for Josh. It's gut wrenching to watch them to try to figure it out, but I want this couple together SO badly that I kept reading praying that it would happen in a way that I could feel good about.I was THRILLED with the turn of events in this book. I L.O.V.E. Josh and Carly. I generally hate cheating and love triangles in stories. My jealous heart can't handle them. So, the first two books were painful for me. But,I also understood both of these characters and what motivated their decisions- whether I agreed with those decisions or not.In this story, we see the conclusion of all of their back and forth. And I had a lot of wanting to smack Carly upside the head moments (not so much for Josh) before I started to really feel good again. This book will put you through it. If you are invested in these characters you will ache for them, but also rejoice for them when they get it right.I was a HUGE (like the HUGEST) NKOTB fan when I was a pre-teen. I loved Jordan, but Joey McIntyre was everyone's crush. Josh is based on him and it was awesome to read a story where a fan gets to be with one of them. I love the elements that included Josh's awesome family and I loved watching these two grow up and then finally grow together. I HIGHLY recommend this story. It has so many things I typically don't enjoy in a story, but written so well that I didn't mind at all.I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This, always has no bearing on my stated opinion. You guys know, I tell it like it is.Happy reading lovers! This review was originally posted on Lucylicious Reads

Oh man. I don't even know what to say about this without giving away any spoilers. This was the perfect ending for this story. Josh and Carly have been on an absolute rollercoaster for the last almost twenty years. Through that whole time, they've never stopped loving each other, even if it seems like they don't. In a weird twist, they're the steadiest relationship in the series, even if they have their ups and downs. They both want the other to be happy, even if that means letting go. While heartbreaking in the moment, they always find their way back to each other. These books have all the feels, and most of the time I find myself grinning like an idiot while reading. Carly and Josh are so adorable, and it's the greatest to read about a girl getting her ultimate wish: falling in love with a boy bander that falls right back for her. This book showcases a more adult Carly and Josh learned to navigate their strange friendship as Josh's bandmate courts Carly and Josh deals with his wife, Abby, and their demanding relationship. And there's more Alex! You don't even know how much I love this guy, and you're going to be mad about him from the moment you start this series. Or maybe you already are, and then you know exactly how I feel. Alex is the best. He's amazing. Awesome. Magnificient. I don't think there's enough adjectives in the world for how great Alex is. He keeps Carly grounded when she needs and smacks sense into her even when she thinks she knows what she's doing. He's the bestest best friend a girl can have, and Carly is infinitely lucky.Following these two in the last two books made me appreciate the efforts they made. They tried to be adults the best way they knew how, while simultaneously having a good time with their separate endeavors. Carly is a successful businesswoman going through a tough time with her divorce, but she always comes out on top. I get what Josh sees in her. Life isn't always easy, but Carly manages to smile through it anyway. And Josh. Josh, in my mind, is a mixture of all those gorgeous boy band members from my youth wrapped up in one delicious package. It would have been impossible for me not to absolutely fall in love with him, and then add the Boston accent (which is totally endearing), he hooks you in no time.BUT THEN THE FEELS PUNCH YOU RIGHT IN THE FACE.

I have LOVED Mel Henry's writing since Distance and Time, and that was the time she made the list of authors trying to kill me, but as I've sat here for 24 hours plotting against her in rage and depression, I have come to the conclusion that I have to break up with her. YOU BROKE MY HEART MEL HENRY AND I'M NOT SURE YOU CAN EVER FIX IT! Carly Cooper is getting divorced from her husband, Detective Trey Foster, but it's amicable. Afterwards, she decides to move in with her best friend, Alejandro Cruz, as she's coming to grips with her feelings. Carly just wants to get to a point of closure from all relationships so she can have one successful one in the future. After a "besties" weekend that Alex invited Josh, Carly's first love, they all got closure and finally moved on as friends. Josh is so exciting that his band, South Station Boyz, are reuniting and he invites Carly and Alex to join them. Carly becomes connected with another member of the band, Dave Butler, and he seems to feel the same way, but one reckless night derails all of it. Can she get past the one out of control drunken night in enough time to fix it?MY HEART HAS BEEN RIPPED OUT, SET ON FIRE, STOMPED ON TO GET SAID FIRE OUT, AND SHOVED BACKED IN BARELY STITCHED UP. I wanted to give a great moving review, but all I'm doing is sitting her crying all over again. The character development is great, as they keep evolving with age, and no one is quite the same. An emotionally charged, and well written story line flows perfectly. I'm not going to lie, Mel Henry is just plain evil, brilliant, but evil, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive her. The emotional journey that I have been on with Josh and Carly has nearly brought me to my knees in the past, but I'm forever ruined now. Her writing style is highly addicting, and super easy to get transported into their world like they are my real life friends, as my emotions attest to. These characters will be in my heart forever, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

True love never fadesCarly and Josh were meant for each other. Their love for each other has been tested but true love never fades. Carly has been through a lot where no woman can imagine. She has multiple miscarriages and her marriage failed. Josh also marriage failed. Their path meets again after all those years when they have own lives away from each other. All this time is very emotional book. It is very heart-breaking book. You will need a box of Kleenex with you when you read this beautiful book. It is also a funny book to read. There are many laugh out loud scenes that will make you giggle.I never fall for a book characters like Carly and Josh. I yell at my Nook for them to unite and sparkle the fire that is hidden between these two. You will love Carly the most. This girl is very strong. She is an inspiration.I cannot wait to read the second book. I really enjoyed reading this book. If you love to read second chances, this book is a must to read.Disclosure:I received n advance copy of the book to read. All my reviews is 100% honestly mine.

Reviewed on behalf of 2 Girls Who Love Books BlogAll This Time is without a doubt the best book in the series. The first two books you see relationships develop and marriages fall apart. In All this time you see Carly build a relationship with a band member named Dave. One drunken night changes everything for Carly. This brings on one heck of a twist in the book. Carly's life changes for the better. And you will smile, laugh and cry. You will see the loving side of the beautiful and sweet Josh. Mel Henry is one fantastic writer. I could very well go deeper in this the writing in this book. But I will leave the great twists and turns in this book for you. You won't be disappointed!!!

Bloomin' heck these characters go through a right cycle of emotions. Carly is reeling from heartbreak and she need she needs her friends around her. But this sets the wheels spinning for this story as going away with rock stars will nearly always lead to drama and important decisions that need to be made. This is certainly the case int his book, and i liked the way the story went in relation to all the other books in the series that need to be read in order

This was an awesome wrap up to this series. I was sad to have it come to an end. No spoilers but she gutted me twice more in this book and just when you think you're getting your HEA....think again...and again. I took at well needed break at 90% and I'm glad I did so I wouldn't have to sniffle in public. Can't wait for more stories from Mel Henry!
