It never seemed like the author was dragging the story. A good one for a quick read. The story covered aspects like greed, revenge to name a few of the shades we see in our day to day life. It seemed to be a bit too easy for the protagonist once he started on his path of revenge. Everything went as planned. However, life is never like that. The beauty of life is that it throws unplanned/unexpected surprises all the time. Maybe the author could have played around some of those while the big plan was being played out. That could have added a hint of realism in this story.

Very fast paced. Deals with financial instruments that have recently surfaced in the Indian market which makes it more interesting. I like the fact that this was made into a quick read of approx. 168 pages rather than a typical novel of 300 pages, which makes it a no nonsense financial thriller. Although, the background of many characters is unknown, but doesn't seem incomplete.Great job for a first time author! Kudos!

The story is built around misuse and abuse of technology and the internet. The narration is taut that makes for an interesting read even for those that do not understand the nuances of the stock market or the complex technology that goes into managing such markets.

Started off well but then the story didn't quite pick up. Was a little disappointed as I felt the author had picked up a theme with good potential and given it a good momentum to get it off the ground too. Well, maybe the next ones will be so!

NiceNice one time quick read. Noek sounds good but the author leaves it much untouched, may be because of its a fiction novel and not a science research paper

Great page turner by PulkitGreat story telling skills by author considering first book. One star missing not because I disliked something genuinely but my constant comparison with other English classic thrillers. Looking forward to read more from the author.

A good book to read for those who are interested in financial market. It is a sweet revenge taken by a brother whose younger brother was murdered. I am not sure on how easily you can fool the head of financial company

I was hooked by the title 'Googled by God - In search of money' written by Pulkit Ahuja. Sahil Kashyap got into a peculiar situation after loss of his only brother in a freak accident and being made aware why his father was convicted.Rahul Kashyap wanted to dream big and shared his portfolio project with JONAS - Akram. As Rahul's portfolio will be a potential loss to the existing merger with PayKwik, Akram kills Rahul and frames the killing as accident. In flashback, Rahul/Sahil's father Vijay was successful in developing a code for controlling stock markets and reaped undue gains. But, he was sent to jail by his friend / partner in crime Paul. How Sahil manages to do both in the backdrop of investment banking, startup and stock market is the crux of the story. This can be termed as one of the better finanical thrillers written in Indian context.

Money is the ultimate goal for many people. What crossroads can one take to earn more? How much greed can a person have and to what extent will this be satisfied? Vijay and Paul, back in their college days, invented a machine which they called God or Noek. It had the capability of earning huge profit for them at the cost of jeopardizing the whole nation's financial market. But what happens when Paul kicks out Vijay out of his own machine? Akram, JASON's head is facing some fluctuations in their trade and he has no idea what or who it is responsible for the loss he is suffering from. Rahul, the young to-be entrepreneur is found dead as soon as he signed his contract with JASON. When Sahil connects the dot and finds a link with all these incidents, will he be able to take his revenge? Could he bring justice or will he fall prey to his own trap?Things I Liked: Read the complete review here -Escape Reality - Book Reviews

Pulkit Ahuja's debut novel is a financial thriller with a good concept. The narrative is simple & easy to understand. Its a easy ready with but characters lack depth. The beginning is just amazing..But problem is plot is simplified so much that if you have some understanding of stock market, you know how it would end..But my take exemplary & commendable read and can easily be compared to earlier writings Ravi Subramanian, the John Grisham of banking, but writing needs some polishing... I am eagerly awaiting the author’s next..

A very nice book. Although the plot is quite similar to a typical Bollywood movie, but the concept of the machine introduced in this book sounds very enticing to me.Being a finance professional, I can relate to each and every aspect talked about in this book and trust me you will enjoy reading this book very much no matter what your background is.Overall its worth your time and money.

You need to have a substantial knowledge about stock markets before reading this book. A good book if not great by a debutant but everything seemed to be going over my head while reading it. The rating is only for the suprecerbral terms used in the books which I never bothered to fathom.

Could have been better in narrating few details. But definitely a good read for people who have some little idea about finance and stock market. If 'The Bankster' gets 10, I will give 7 for this book.
