In theWhen she is unfairly blamed for the loss of a key contract, Rylie Duncan’s hot temper—along with a few too many drinks and a handy cellphone—may destroy her entire career. The inebriated messages sent to her bosses cost Rylie her job, but it is the foul-mouthed voicemail left for Neill Sullivan, CEO of her company’s biggest rival, which turns out to be her undoing. In the years since he lost his wife, Neill devoted his energy to his work. Women were a distraction he did not need… until Rylie and her fiery temper awoke desires he had not felt in a long time. Her slanderous voicemail presents the opportunity to satisfy both his own needs and hers as well—needs she doesn’t yet know she has. Ordered to appear in Neill’s office or risk the voicemail becoming public, Rylie obeys but is totally unprepared for what follows. Before the evening is over she is stripped naked and bent over his desk for a paddling and then, to her dismay, she cannot help but beg for Neill to take her right there in his office with her cheeks blushing and her bottom still hot and sore. Neill’s plans for Rylie don’t end that evening, though, and for the next six months she will work two jobs. During the day she will be a well-paid executive at Neill’s company, but at night she will serve in his home at his whim. To her surprise, Rylie soon discovers that both roles have their rewards, and she begins to enjoy the evenings she spends naked, awaiting her master’s instructions. But as the end of her six months approaches, can Rylie and Neill turn their newfound romance into more than just a temporary arrangement? bared and tamed Reviews
When I think of D/s relationships, this is the kind of story I believe clearly define true D/s relationships. The scenes and characters are believable. The scenes are not scripted and clinical, thank the book gods! The role of each character is clear. Blackmail is a beautiful thing! Yes indeedy! In the right setting it is a very beautiful thing. Rylie is a light weight with alcohol. Because of this affliction she finds herself in a world of trouble. Trouble is nice . Nice if there is purpose. Anything is worth experiencing as long as there is value and purpose. In spite of their reasons for coming together, Sullivan finds himself enthralled with the arrogant, foul-mouthed, corporate lawyer. It will be his pleasure to take her, break her, mold her......and FLOVE HER! Rylie's sass and hard ass are legendary. Sullivan's discipline is quiet and effective. His discipline aka quiet storm is MASTERFUL!I loved this story and it's one of my fave in this genre. I love a dominant alpha male. The only complaint I have is I wished Rylie's capitulation would not have occurred at their first meeting. A bit more restraint would have been nice. Doesn't take away from the story at all in any way!Five stars!
DisciplineA good story that shows all tge steps of the relation between Riley and her boss.Steamy reading for hiuse discilpline lovers.
GreatWhat a wonderful feel good D/s Love ❤️ story. A very strong independent woman working in a mans world finding out a lot about herself and a man she admired
Fumbled Falling ActionMost of what I liked about this story was ruined after Neill hit in anger. The moment and the couple's recovery from that punishment happened without aftercare, and the sexual encounter that followed was basically the end of the action in the plot. At the end of the day, I felt more like I was reading about a violent couple, not one in what becomes a healthy relationship.

I liked this story.. I started this story only put it down, to my house duties. 2 broken hearts, that threw passion and discipline.. they heal each other. it funny sad, and almost frustrating at times. But worth reading.
