married to a prince Reviews
Laila is near to a starving artist. She is an actress waiting for her big break while working at a fron desk of a 5 star hotel. She is struggling to make ends meet with her dead mother's hospital bills and her rent. Then in comes Andreas, immediately he is attracted to Laila but Laila seems to have figured him out and pegged him for an ass. But soon he sways her off of her feet and they are smitten. They got engaged and then Laila discovers he is a prince then all things go downhill. The story is fairly predictable and it should irk me but I'm not, it made up for the emotions the writer invoked within me. I sympathized with Laila and my heart broke especially when they broke up. Never should a lover spit out such degratory words even if he/she is furious. I believe that every word that comes out of our mouth especially on impulse sheds some truth to our thoughts.
An enchanting read....sparks fly the minute they meet...each knowing that there is something special here but trying to resist. Him as this is his chance to prove to his family that he more than just a playboy drunk and her because she just got rid of a freeloading ex & is trying to work through her mother's medical debt. Once they get together love blooms & they get engaged.....not realizing that someone is trying to destory his family by any means possible & hurting anyone deemed necessary. Its a struggle for our Cinderella to come to terms with him being a prince & all the changes that will being taking place in her life.....Such a wonderful book that I have read it more than a few times.
A cute book, with a plot which while slow to start heats up nicely in the second half. The two principle protagonists back-stories are revealed gently, at a realistic pace. No fairy lights and swooping romance - just the hard doubting slog to built trust, and love which will last. Problems? The villain strikes me as slightly 2 dimensional, and flat. But this is forgiveable in a royal romance flick. Apart from that, the villain chief motivation remains somewhat unclear by novel finish; but generally the plot rounds itself up satisfactorilyKutos: congrats where its due, I've never come across this author before, and from her website, it seems she is just starting out. I enjoyed this e-book, and will definitely be keeping my eye out for future works by her.
It was enjoyable in the beginning. A bit slow throughout. It was a common plot and your typical romance book and nothing really special. It was pretty predictable. But I till enjoyed it nonetheless.
Andreas was a judgmental bastard. The story lost its groove for me when they went from not talking for three months to resuming an engagement after one talk. Even if the wedding was three years later. The story resolution needed some work, in my opinion.
Cute book, very entertaining, had me from start to finish without being bored.
