"Inertia: Book One" is an unusual but fascinating blend of gay romance / erotica with paranormal elements.20 something bartender Skye, capable of changing his physical form, manages to bring back the will to live in 50 something singer RT. They meet and embark on a short passionate time together. The writing of this book is explicit but not as shocking as the blurb made out to be. I am amazed at how well the chemistry between the unlikely couple worked and how well their respective background weaves into the story. The book is packed with unexpected paranormal elements and plot surprises, which every reader will better discover for themselves. The Parliament of Twilight, which binds this book to a series of similar stories, is a dark and secret society operating from behind the scenes. The book contains explicit sex which however is not as shocking as the blurb made out to be. It also some humorous and entertaining scenes, particularly the show scenes of RT performing in the club or the interrupted sex in 'public'. The main characters have great chemistry which is remarkable as they are in many ways such an unlikely couple. With their respective pasts and backgrounds they are interesting protagonists to follow.I am delighted to find gay erotica with so much substance. I understand that this is an English language version of a gay sub category of Manga literature. The stunning art work on the cover certainly has a Japanese feel and will attract a cult following.I applaud the authors for breaking new ground and experimenting so successfully with these genres.

I wish Goodreads offered half-star options. It was more than a 2-star "It was ok" while less than a 3-star "I liked it." For me, half of the story was too slow. That is why I kept sitting it down in favor of doing other things. The section that was too slow for me was once Skye and RT left the bar until they separated in the hotel. The sex scenes were hot; however, I did not feel pulled into the story. The last quarter of the book finally pulled me in and left me wanting to know more.Note: I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the Lovers of Paranormal (LoP) group on

I was given this book to read and review by Lovers of Paranormal. This was an odd book, It took me in in the beginning and i was very curious about what was going to happen to Skye. The build up was pretty good, the romance that was blooming, it felt like it was going to be a good one. But the when Skye ended up with RT the story got lost. It sidetracked me too much. I did finish the book but i had trouble doing it. So i am not going to read the other parts. It´s too bad, i think that if the story focused more on why they where running and less on the sex i think i would definitely read more of it.

I was given a copy of this book from LoP in place of an honest review. This isn't normally my kind of book but I thought I would try something a little different and I am glad that I took the plunge and read it. The author did a great job coming up with this story and I loved the characters. The storyline just kept me on the edge of my seat and I was going crazy trying to see what would happen next. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this book and I will be waiting for the next one.

Ok so this is the first of the reviews I promised to catch up on in the November Clean Your eReader Challenge. I got this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. This is going to be disappointing but it was a DNF. I tried three different times to get into this novel but it was a no go.When I signed up to the review there was this big disclaimer on the million different types of kinky sex involved and while I only got 60% through the book it really wasn't all that bad. The thing was though at that far I still didn't know the difference between the Doctor and the other guys. Out of the 60% I read most of it was one big long sex scene...really really really long sex scene, that in real life would have required far more Viagra than was present. Oh well fantasy and all that. Moving on...while I do read a lot of erotica and a lot of UF this just didn't work for me. Someone else might find it to their taste. On the plus side one down five more to go in the challenge.

A slightly deviant sideInertia: Book OneI receive a copy in exchange for an honest review.Blinding creativity will leave you thinking and thinking again. Be warned... not for the feint-hearted!The tale incorporates, paranormal, bondage, beast form sex, corpse sex, humour, love and erotica- to name a few aspects from the amalgamation. With a mix of danger and secrets with a dark plot and twists should capture the attention of many, especially those with a slightly deviant side to them.Overall, an unusual and worthwhile read 5*****

**I received this book in exchange for an honest review. LoP**I tried very hard to finish reading this book. I'm sorry to say, I couldn't. Personally, I had a tough time following the story. I did like how the characters are portrayed. The sex was pretty well written. But over all, I can only give it 3 stars for now. I will try to get back to reading this book. I would still recommend this be added to your tbr list. You may love it.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review for LoP. Skye and RT met at the bar that RT work at. There are a lot steamy scenes. RT works for the vampires and Skye works for Wolf's Publishing. This book also has a lot of paranormal action too. I highly recommend this book for male on male erotica.

I was given this book for an honest review from LoP (Lovers of Paranormal)This is a very odd book. It captures you in the beginning but it quickly gets confusing. I got kind of lost in the 2 quarter of the book. I could quite get my head around it. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't read it.
