The commission and bonus she’ll receive from the two day Guidry Construction event will not only fund her spring trip to New York City, but buy a cute pair of shoes for the plane ride! Her enthusiasm quickly turns to barely disguised irritation when Vincent Guidry arrives hours early for his scheduled check-in, demanding access to his suite. After he slashes the budget for the event, not even the crystal blue eyes of the former quarterback can quell the anger surging in her chest. That is until he walks into the Chat Noir where she is trying to regroup after her irksome day.In the private enclave known as the Cristal Room, Vincent willingly lights up Darcey’s New Year’s Eve and may have lost his heart in the process to the young woman who isn't looking for anything serious....

Cheers (The Rose Gold Collection) Reviews
(I won this book from Vallory during a contest.)Cheers is a quick story of two people who meet and cannot contain their desire for each other. Although this isn't a book I would normally choose myself, I still wanted to give my thoughts on it. Vallory Vance is a good writer. Her characters are well-thought-out, her dialogue is realistic, and she has amazing descriptive abilities. Small editing details aside, this is a well-written story that I believe people who read this genre would enjoy. I'd love to see Ms. Vance write a full-length novel where she can delve deeper into her characters and give readers a chance to enjoy her wonderful writing style with a complete romance story. I'm not sure if that is something she's planning to do, but I do believe she would do an amazing job on a full-length novel. Thanks for the opportunity to read your novel, Vallory, and best wishes to you in the future.
I think Darcey is supposed to be strong, but she seems to let Vincent dictate to her. By the frequent change between Vincent and Mr. Guidry, I wasn't sure if they knew each other and were playing at being strangers or if she was just willing to drop the formality so quickly along with her clothes. Not my cup of tea though maybe for others.
